Legends of King Solomon, his work with Angels and his command of “unclean spirits” were popular in medieval Roman Catholic Europe. In time, this generated a “Solomonic” tradition among European mystics. These people were among the first to record aspects of their magickal traditions in book form- which we today refer to as “grimoires” (textbooks). Included in this genre are such titles as The Key of Solomon the King, The Lemegeton (“Lesser Key of Solomon”), Agrippa’s Three Books of Occult Philosphy, The Heptameron, The Grand Grimoire and many others. The magickal methods and esoteric knowledge of medieval Europe form the ancestral backbone of modern magical traditions.

This series, intended for beginners, is an in-depth exploration of Solomonic mysticism- with its methods explained step-by-step along the way. There are currently eight classes in this 100 series.

Classes are recorded so you can take them at your own pace!

Subjects covered include:

Class One: History and Cosmology. We will explore the historical foundations of the Solomonic grimoires, as well as the cosmology upon which their magick is based.

Class Two: The Seven Archangels and the Planets. Students will be introduced to the archangels through their midrashim (legends), so they can be understood and approached as living beings with their own personalities and histories. The powers of the seven planets/heavens will then be explored.

Class Three: The Four Archangels and the Elements, and Intermediary Spirits. Continuing from the previous class, students will be introduced to the archangels and the powers of the four Elements. Then the vital importance of intermediary spirits will be covered.

Class Four: Magical Timing and Ritual Purifications. How to prepare for your magical workings.

Class Five: Basic Tools and Consecrations. How to make and consecrate the tools you will need for basic magical work.

Class Six: Talismans and Magical Images. Learn how to construct and use powerful talismans and other magical images.

Class Seven: Psalm Magick and Solomonic Conjure. Sometimes called the “Mixed Qabalah”, the grimoires contain a vast array of folk-style spellcasting for any imaginable purpose. Learn how to cast your first Solomonic spells.

Class Eight: Devotional and Offering Magick. Students will learn how to employ all of their knowledge to construct altars, invoke the angels, make offerings, and build true life-long relationships with your angelic patrons.

Advanced subjects such as evocation, goetia, and more will be covered in the 200 series.
