Epiphany Home Blessing Kit
The Holy Day of Epiphany falls on January 6th, directly after the twelfth day of Christmas. During the Epiphany, we celebrate the visit of the Three Zoroastrian Magi to the infant Jesus. The gifts and blessings they brought the child are invoked on this day into our homes to influence us throughout the year.
This day’s observance takes special importance if you are a modern-day Mage yourself. (One famous grimoire – the 6th and 7th Books of Moses – even requires one to work on this day.)
Of course you are not required to be one of the Magi to invoke their blessings and protection for your home! The ritual only requires one to be the head of the household. Our Epiphany Home Blessing Kit includes:
– 1oz of Holy Water and
– 1/2oz of Three Magi Incense (containing Frankincense, Myrrh, Benzoin, and real Gold!) to banish and purify every room of your house.
– 1 stick of chalk to mark the initials of the Magi above your front door.
– The instructions and prayers you’ll need.The Water, Incense, and Chalk have all been consecrated during Epiphany Mass by Fr. Aaron Leitch.
